All tours include map and bike rental with helmet and a safety t-shirt. There are special rates for those of you who have your own bicycles. Rent beach cruisers, multi-speed beach or comfort bikes and of course, road bikes with treaded tires. We offer group discounts as well as family discounts. Please specify when calling and scheduling your adventure. All scheduling is done by phone and payments can be made on line. So get your church group, family reunion, anniversary, bowling league, little league, dance partners or fellow halloween gobblins and ….. lets ride!

Indigo Farms Tour

Six generations have owned and operated this local favorite for fresh vegetables, fruit and canned goods. The tour takes you through the quaint village of Calabash and along country roads which lead us by golf courses and old family farmsteads. Arrive at Indigo Farms in the morning hours and dismount to stretch your legs and pick fresh strawberries or blueberries. Indigo farms also has a grill and bakery as well as fresh produce, a nursery, a florist and an ice cream shop! Did we mention the animals?

Ingram Planetarium Tour

Like most of our tours, our goal is to enlighten our guests. While this may not be the first trip you’ve taken to the planetarium, we hope it will be your most memorable.
You can snake your way through neighborhoods and tree lined streets, through Calabash and out towards Sunset Beach. Hit the surf and ride down to the jetties. Breeze past Bird Island, which is now amongst the protected islands of the North Carolina shore. Do a little island hopping with a couple of breaks and include a lunch at any number of great locals stops. Then take to the road again to the Ingram Planetarium for the show at 1pm. The show lasts an hour and gives us a cool down during the heat of the day. There are many shows to check out and we’ll post them as soon as the schedule for the season is available. The road back winds through Seatrail Plantation and makes a quick stop for ice cream on the last leg of the return.

Ocean Isle Beach Tour

This tour is not for the faint of heart! It’s a trek of a minimum of 30 miles but it’s worth every minute! You may choose to snake through a very old cemetery or the quaint little village of Calabash, Sunset Beach golf courses, the shops at Seaside and finally arrive at Ocean Isle. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, come to a rolling stop at the top of the causeway bridge and you’ll realize why you had to come this way. Unbelievable views both ways on the waterway as far as the eye can see not to mention a fantastic breeze! You can’t do this in a car! Once on the island you may visit the Ocean Isle Aquatic Museum, take in the shops or just take a breather on the beach. The return route will encompass a tour through secluded neighborhoods adorned with enchanted live oaks and waterfront views.

Silver Coast Winery Tour

The Silver Coast Winery is well known to locals and tourists alike. Nestled in a small farming community just the other side of Hwy. 17, it has quickly blossomed into an award winning standard for excellence. Enjoy this tour which begins at the highly acclaimed Vereen Memorial Gardens, cruises through the sleepy village of Calabash and culminates at the winery for a wine tasting and a cool break beneath the trees for fresh grapes, bread and cheese.

Sunset Beach Tour

This is a great tour for those who love the beach and want to get out and see the area a little closer than usual. Set out from Vereen Memorial Gardens with a goal of taking in as much as possible. You may opt to stop at the Sunset River Galleries and take in the work of the areas many talented artists or possibly see the boats off at the docks. Make your way through the shaded back streets and quiet, out of the way places hidden to the normal automobile tourist. Your final destination will be Sunset Beach and ultimately, the jetties on Bird Island….what you do and how you get there is up to you. You’ll have many options available from where you take lunch to shops and putt-putt to take a beak from the heat of the day. Maps will provide alternate return routes.
